Our School Students Participate in the “Zhuhai Aerospace Exploration Journey”
To enhance students’ understanding of the country’s aerospace technology development, our school organized a group of students from Secondary 1 to Secondary 3 to participate in the “Zhuhai Aerospace Exploration Journey” on Friday, June 27, 2025, hosted by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government. The event took place at the Zhuhai Space Center, where students visited the latest exhibits in national aerospace, aviation, and defense fields. They gained in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technological achievements such as satellite applications, manned deep-sea diving technology (e.g., the “Jiaolong” submersible), and deep space exploration (e.g., the “Zhurong” Mars rover).
The itinerary included popular science courses and hands-on activities, allowing students to learn scientific principles, explore the impact of modern technology on society, and cultivate an interest in STEAM subjects.
This post-activity aims to broaden students’ horizons, deepen their sense of national identity, and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining space security.
