Our Teacher Team Serves as Guest Speakers for Castle Peak Catholic Primary School’s Teacher Development Day

Dedicated to fostering a smooth primary-to-secondary transition, Principal Cheng recently led our teacher team as guest speakers at Castle Peak Catholic Primary School’s Teacher Development Day. Principal Cheng kicked off the session by introducing cutting-edge AI teaching methods and future-ready educational trends to our primary school colleagues. She delivered an insightful presentation titled, “Protecting Human Dignity: Viewing Digital Education and TMCSS Practice through the Pope’s Encyclical,” and received a certificate of appreciation from Castle Peak Catholic Primary School’s principal, Mr. Hui Carlo.
Following this, our Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, and Science teachers shared subject-tailored insights, including experiences related to the Hong Kong Attainment Test (HKAT). For instance, our Mathematics teacher explained the specific objectives and details of assessing students’ mathematical abilities. Furthermore, the teacher team showcased practical examples of AI-assisted learning. They shared the core principles of classroom design in the AI era and demonstrated real-time data analysis using digital tools. They also provided step-by-step guidance to help the primary school teachers create their own AI-powered instructional materials.
Through this meaningful dialogue, our team gained deeper insights into the primary school curriculum to better support our future students and Tuenteenians, while successfully fostering professional synergy across schools. A heartfelt thank you to Castle Peak Catholic Primary School for the warm invitation and collaboration!
