Hong Kong Outstanding Students Award organized by Youth Arch Foundation

Candidates are required to demonstrate their excellence in personal qualities and positive traits, involvement in community services especially their leadership in helping other teenagers to act positively or serving as a role model. Candidates should also perform excellently in both academic aspect and extra-curricular activities, outperforming others. 6A Tsang Hiu Yan became the candidates after the written test and the finalists and share experience with other 41 candidates. She was given a chance to participate in a camping with current candidates and past outstanding students. Between late June and September, Tsang participated in a voluntary enrichment program, getting involved in community services, coaching underprivileged children. In October, she was invited to share her experience and hindsight in the summer program. Although she does not get promoted to the final round, this is a great chance for her to widen her horizons and get along with new friends. Tsang was finally awarded a certificate for Outstanding Students.
