Professional Meeting on Applied Learning Courses by the Education Bureau

Our Vice Principal, Mr Lai, was invited to attend the Education Bureau’s meeting on Applied Learning Courses to share the school’s insights on the implementation of such courses. At this professional exchange meeting, the Bureau also invited our alumnus Mr. Lo King Kwan, a Year 1 student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, to share his learning journey and reflections on Applied Learning Courses.

Since 2024, our school has opened enrollment for Applied Learning Courses to students who wish to take such courses in addition to their three elective subjects, aiming to deepen their understanding of the elective subjects they have studied and expand their academic interests. The first cohort of our students who completed the Applied Learning Courses has graduated, and all of them have been awarded the “Distinction” ratings (a Distinction result can be equivalent to a maximum of Level 4 in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination).
